Stoneman Glaciara
Loop Challenge

Start anywhere on the loop. Start any time you like — pick your weather, your daylight, your direction of attack. Complete one full loop back to your own starting point, upload the file, and the clock is yours.

How it works

1

Register once

Sign up with the tourist office and download the official course file. One registration covers the whole season and as many attempts as you want.

2

Run the loop

Start wherever you are, whenever conditions suit you. Record the whole thing on your watch and finish back at your own starting point.

3

Upload and get verified

Drop the file here. It is checked against the official course in a few seconds, and a valid loop goes straight onto the leaderboard.

Submit your loop

Drop your FIT, GPX or TCX file here
or click to choose — nothing leaves your browser

Where you were on the loop
Your position around the course over the whole recording. One clean diagonal from your start back to your start is a valid loop.
How far you strayed from the line
Distance from the official course at every point of the loop. Anything above the dashed limit counts against you.
Your distance from the course line Section you never ran 30 m limit

    Official course file

Load the real course and everything on this page follows it — distance, ascent, the profile above, and every check. GPX, TCX or FIT. It stays in this browser; to ship it to everyone, replace course.gpx in the deployed folder.

    Test files

One real submission and three simulated ones, so you can show every outcome without going for a run. Nico's is a genuine Strava export and behaves like a real file will.

    Leaderboard

Demo entries are placeholders. Results are filed against the course they were run on, so loading the real course hides them automatically.
